Mìlsean-mara – Sea pink grows on our rocky Hebridean shores and salt marsh in-lets flowering between April and July. In spite of its small and delicate appearance it is incredibly hardy. Deluged every full moon by our spring tides and at times summer gales, its little heads remain defiant and resplendent giving us carpets of glorious sea pink.
